What counts as a response?
A completed or partially-answered survey submission from a user. A dismissal — where a user closes the survey without answering — does not count.
Can I really not overspend?
Yes. You set a hard spend cap and we enforce it. There are no seats, no per-user MAU charges, and no minimums, so the only lever is responses — which you cap.
Why per response instead of per user (MAU)?
MAU pricing charges you for people who never even see a survey, and punishes apps with large user bases. Paying per response lines the cost up with the value you actually get.
